
VENTITHERM®
Using this genuine convection mode (heating element around convection fan), the fan gently circulates hot air throughout the oven to give an even temperature. Ventitherm® ensures no transfer of flavours so you can cook sweet and savoury dishes together on up to 3 levels. It is a very economical and time efficient cooking system, as it does not require preheating for most dishes, thus making it the most commonly used setting.
VIGOROUS STEAM
The steam generator works with a fixed temperature at 96 degrees C, to deliver a constant flow of steam. Ideal for vegetables, rice and fish, it ensures that all the vitamins and nutrients are retained for healthy cooking.
INTERVAL STEAM
This unique feature alternates steam and fan cooking with 25% steam and 75% hot air. Food is crisp on the outside and moist and succulent on the inside, so it looks and tastes better. It is ideal for roasting, baking and complete meal cooking.
VENTITHERM® PRECISION
Allows a greater range of cooking temperatures from 30 degrees C to 300 degrees C, ideal for proofing bread to browning crème brulées. Cooking times are typically reduced by 10 minutes for every hour using Ventitherm® Precision, as it does not require preheating. In addition, the temperature setting can be lowered by 10%, compared to a regular oven, reducing energy consumption.
PIZZA MODE
This combination uses the Ventitherm® mode where the fan circulates hot air through the oven in combination with the concealed base element. This uniform, powerful heat setting gives you perfectly crisp pizza crusts.
FAN CONTROLLED DEFROSTING
Suitable for delicate items such as cheese cakes, this light defrost circulates room temperature air around the food slowly, defrosting it hygienically in less than half the time, as opposed to leaving the food on a counter.
BASE HEAT FINISHING
Heat from the bottom element only, ideal for reheating pies and pastries as it keeps the pastry crisp.
TOP HEAT BROWNING
Heat from the top element only, ideal for browning lasagna, shepherd’s pie, or melting cheese.
HOT AIR FAN BAKING
With this North American style convection, the base element and the fan work together to provide a good baking environment.
DUAL CIRCUIT VARIABLE GRILL
This setting uses the inner and outer part of the grill element, to provide a full width and even grilling, ideal for large portions.
VARIABLE ECONOMY GRILL
Uses only the inner part of the grill element, ideal for smaller portions such as 4 slices of toast. The heat is controllable, and using one element, saves energy.
ROTITHERM® ROASTING
Heat is directed from the top element to the surface of the food while the fan circulates heat around the oven. This clever setting gives the perfect authentic spit roast effect for meat, poultry and roasting potatoes; all the benefits of a rotisserie without the mess.
CONVENTIONAL COOKING
The top and bottom elements provide traditional cooking with zoned heat. It is ideal for baking bread and cakes, as the oven becomes hotter at the top.
RADIANT HEAT CONVECTION
Using the top and bottom heat in conjunction with the fan, the radiant heat is distributed throughout the oven evenly. This speeds up the browning process compared to foods cooked with a conventional baking mode.
SPEEDCOOK
Prevents the need to preheat the oven for all types of food - ideal for cooking convenience foods. These foods can be cooked in the exact cooking time that is specified on the packet.
PIZZA SETTING
The base element crisps the pizza base, leaving the topping perfectly cooked. This feature is also ideal for quiches and flans. This setting is applicable to the B8139 oven only.
SILVER CONTROLS WITH DIGITAL DISPLAY
Easy to use, aesthetically pleasing controls with accurate display. Menu-driven cooking guidance is provided in conjunction with simple to use electronic controls. This new and easy cooking system with digital text display indicates the optimum cooking temperature for best results with any selected cooking function.
RETRACTABLE CONTROL KNOBS
Control knobs can be pushed in when the oven is in use, adding to its stylish appearance. This feature avoids the temperature being altered by mistake, as well as helping to keep them clean. It also makes cleaning the control panel easy.
LED DIGITAL DISPLAY
Menu guided temperature control with LED display. Displays the recommended cooking temperature and indicates when the desired temperature is achieved.
24-HOUR CLOCK/TIMER
Fully programmable clock/ timer to allow the oven to be programmed to switch on and begin cooking and then switch off after a set duration, also sounding an alarm when the cooking is complete. Enables forward planning, and gives full control over cooking.
